MILWAUKEE, Wis. — A man carrying a semi-automatic handgun at a downtown Milwaukee County Transit Center was fatally shot by the police following an attempted carjacking, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

The shooting occurred inside the transit center, a two-story building in downtown Milwaukee's business district that is often unoccupied. None of the three officers involved were hurt and no one inside the building was in the line of fire. For the full story, click here.
