LAS VEGAS —At the Consumer Electronics Show this week, BMW explained how the intermodal navigation feature of its My Remote app for its i3 electric car integrates public transportation options when planning how to get to a destination, CNET reported.

The feature is particularly helpful for the i3, which has a range of 80 to 100 miles. The car might not be able to go far enough for many destinations, making use of other transit options necessary.
