Cleveland's RTA's Calabrese wins award

The Senator George V. Voinovich Public Works Employee of the Year Award from the Build Up Greater Cleveland was presented by Joe Roman, president of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, who stated that because of Calabrese's work and involvement in the community, RTA is now regionally synonymous with economic development.

Report says that service-industry workers heading home after 10 p.m. are often left behind by overcrowded buses and waiting longer than 30 minutes for buses that are scheduled to run about every seven minutes. The agency is working to double the number of extra-long buses on the route.
