Ill. rural transit faces deep cuts

PEORIA, Ill. — pjstar.com reported that CountyLink, Peoria County’s popular rural transit system, will need to make several service reductions, including cutting four of its six full-time routes. That means about seven riders each day will be dropped from the transit program.
