MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon City Commission voted to end its senior transit program on Dec. 31 due to city general fund deficits and a reduction in federal block grant funding, mLive reported.
The city had already extended the program by six months. The commission also put a property tax on the Nov. 6 ballot to support the continuation of the program with the dedicated revenue.
