Fla.’s Palm Tran gives paratransit contractor one week to fix issues

PALM BEACH, Fla. — In reaction to more than 2,100 complaints over the past six months, ranging from lateness to no-shows to harsh treatment by drivers, Palm Tran Connection has given its paratransit contractor, Metro Mobility Management Group, one week to improve its service delivery, The Palm Beach Post reported.

The retooling includes transferring all scheduling to Palm Tran employees during the one-week trial period. Previously, scheduling was being divided among Palm Tran and Metro employees. For the full story, click here.
