SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Paratransit service for South Dakota's largest city may limit ridership due to the service's lack of funding to accommodate additional riders.
Sioux Area Metro's advisory board recommended limiting the service’s coverage area during peak travel times, as well as not accepting any new subscribers to the service if they live outside of three-quarters of a mile from a fixed route as options to help sustain the service, according to an Argus Leader report.
