Critics question NJ Transit’s on-time claims

NEWARK, N.J. — Asbury Park Press reported that transit advocates and commuters interviewed questioned NJ Transit’s claim of a 91% on-time rate for November, when Superstorm Sandy impacted the coast line for weeks, fewer trains were in operation, and repairs slowed their speeds.
