Agency signed a Letter of Intent with ARRTT to formally begin the negotiations necessary for an aerial gondola to Dodgers Stadium.
The move will help guide Aerial Rapid Transit Technologies in writing a more detailed proposal for the aerial tram.

The aerial system would get fans from downtown to Dodger Stadium in about five minutes.
The idea was originally floated in 2009 by University of Colorado officials.
The plan for the city is just one of several aerial cable projects being pitched in cities from Austin, Texas, to Washington, D.C., to solve public transportation problems by going above the existing maze of congested highways, bridges, and rails.
The system, known as the “Personalized Elevated Urban Transport” (or TUEP in Spanish), promises to move some 37 million people across the city each year, and up to 200 million if the system is extended to longer distances.
Plan estimates the gondola would transport 5,000 people per hour in both directions and says it could move commuters from Brooklyn to Manhattan in less than four minutes, with each phase costing between $75 million and $125 million.
The system, which can move 1,800 passengers per hour each way, would link Seattle’s waterfront with downtown’s convention center.
