Prevost Car Inc. voluntarily recalled certain coach models in the United States and Canada due to a defect that requires the installation of reinforcement brackets on the tag axle to prevent possible cracking and tag axle failure. The following coaches are affected: the H3-40, H3-41 and H3-45, model years 1990 to 2001 and the XL-40, XL-45 and M5Es, model years 1994 to 2001. The defect could adversely affect the handling of the vehicle and Prevost recalled all models to allow for reinforcement installation.
