Out-of-service rates for motorcoaches decreased from 11.7% to 9.5% during this year’s Roadcheck 2003. The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s annual Roadcheck also saw out-of-service rates for drivers decrease from 8.7% in 2002 to 1.7% in 2003. The 72-hour Roadcheck conducted 55,784 North American Standard Inspections on commercial vehicles at 1,097 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
