NEW YORK CITY -- Port Authority CEO Neil Levin was among 200 staff still unaccounted for in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist strike against the World Trade Center. Meanwhile, the New York MTA system was operating normally Friday except in lower Manhattan. In addition, the MTA has volunteered use of its buses to help transport volunteers to the disaster site. In California, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District bolstered their security measures after the Sept. 11 attacks.
