Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) in Tennessee will be managed by Professional Transit Management Ltd. beginning this month. Current General Manager Mark Hairr will continue in his position.
KAT provides regular, fixed route bus service on 25 routes throughout the City of Knoxville and parts of Knox County. KAT also operates a trolley and demand-response service. The system runs 75 vehicles.
