Nicholas J. Staffieri was named acting general manager of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. Staffieri began his position Feb. 1, the day after former GM Jack Leary's contract expired. The appointment was made as SEPTA continues a nationwide search for a new general manager.
