In the past few months, Neoplan USA was awarded new contracts with nine transit operations. Those operations include the Maryland Transit Administration, New Jersey Transit, Los Angeles International Airport and the cities of Laredo, Texas; Memphis, Tenn.; and Reno, Nev. Neoplan also received its first order through its contract with the GSA. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority purchased 60-foot articulated buses through GSA, which is a simplified process over the traditional procurement process. The GSA process only requires a one-page order form. Neoplan has seven models, ranging from 35 feet to 60 feet, approved for sale through the GSA.
