TARTA to use SLF 200 for transit service

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) purchased 38 new Thomas Dennis SLF 200 buses for transit line services. The SLF 200 features include Class 1 multiplex wiring, MercedesBenz 906 diesel engines and 42-inch-wide front and rear doors. The 35-foot vehicles, produced at Thomas Dennis Company's Greensboro, N.C., plant, will be delivered in the first quarter of 2003.
