Specialty Manufacturing forms company with Invertec

Specialty Manufacturing Company has joined with U.K.-based Invertect to form Invertec North America. Invertec North America will supply lighting systems and component lights to transit buses, emergency vehicles, trucks and recreational vehicles in the North American market. Invertec, which exports more than 50% of its production worldwide, is the largest low voltage lighting manufacturer for the transportation industry in England. Specialty Manufacturing began as a safety products supplier to the North American school bus market and now manufactures products such as roof hatches for commercial transit buses.
