Cummins Westport Inc. received its first engine order for paratransit service from Citizens Area Transit(CAT) in Las Vegas. CAT ordered 51 buses powered by the Cummins 195-horsepower B Gas Plus engines to replace aging CNG-powered buses in the fleet. Scheduled for delivery in July, these 5.9-liter engines will be installed into new 28-foot buses using chassis manufactured by Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.
