In an effort to promote the benefits of motorcoach travel, the staff of the American Bus Association (ABA) traveled by motorcoach from Washington, D.C. to New York City for the 2004 American Bus Marketplace. ABA President and CEO, Peter J. Pantuso, who was among the travelers said, "Arriving in New York by motorcoach is the most efficient, convenient and affordable way to travel. In addition, motorcoach travel is more affordable than rail or air travel." The American Bus Marketplace, hosted by the ABA, brings together hundreds of bus and tour operators with travel representives from various destinations, attractions, hotels and restaurants. The event will take place Jan. 16 to 21 at the Jacob Javits Center.
