GFI Genfare has been awarded new contracts with three transit systems, totaling approximately $21 million.

The contracts, which will supply bus fareboxes, were made with Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority and Capital Metro Transit in Austin, Texas.

GFI Genfare will supply the agencies with automatic bus fare collection systems that process a range of fare media, including coins, bills, magnetic farecards and smart cards.

The systems will be installed in Austin and Dallas this year and in Atlanta beginning in 2005.
