Michael Setzer has been named CEO/general manager of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) in Cincinnati, effective July 1. Setzer is currently general manager of Metro Transit in Minneapolis/St. Paul. His appointment ends a three-month search for a successor to Paul Jablonski, who left SORTA in January 2004. Setzer is not a newcomer to SORTA. He served as the agency's general manager from 1987 to 1993 and held other executive positions from 1978 to 1982.
