A joint venture company between Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Dana Corp. became operational when both corporate boards gave final approval last week.

The new organization, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, is headquartered in Elyria, Ohio, and offers wheel-end braking systems components for buses, trucks and commercial vehicles.

The joint venture also appointed Kishor Pendse as president of the organization. Pendse has more than 20 years’ experience in the transportation industry.
