ATC was awarded a contract to provide the operation and maintenance of transit services for Santa Clarita (Calif.) Transit through 2008.

ATC, which has held the contract since 1996, will continue to manage a service that transports about 3.4 million people annually on 96 fixed-route and paratransit vehicles.

This renewal marks the second consecutive time that ATC has won renewal in a competitive bid for Santa Clarita’s contract.

The operation won the American Public Transportation Association’s 2002 Public Transit System Outstanding Achievement Award.
