Bombardier Transportation won a $29 million order to supply railcars to the Utah Transit Authority. Per the contract, Bombardier will supply 12 bi-level commuter rail vehicles. The new cars will be used to provide service between North Weber County and Salt Lake City in its first phase. The vehicles, scheduled for delivery between June and October 2006, will be built at Bombardier's plants in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Plattsburgh, N.Y.
