NABI delivers 1,000th CNG bus to L.A.

North American Bus Industries Inc. (NABI) delivered its 1,000th CNG low-floor bus to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

NABI has been providing CNG buses to the MTA since 2000 under four separate contracts. The MTA has the nation’s largest fleet of alternative-fueled transit vehicles.

NABI is also in the process of delivering 200 60-BRT CNG articulated buses to the MTA, and has already delivered 875 40-foot low-floor buses and 95 45-foot CompoBuses.
