ABC Companies, the U.S. distributor for Van Hool buses, unveiled at the APTA EXPO its A330 hydrogen fuel cell bus for transit.

The 40-foot bus can reach speeds of up to 65 mph, powered by a zero-emission, hydrogen-fueled hybrid-electric engine.

The bus is virtually noiseless and emits only water vapor from the tailpipe.

The vehicle will be put into revenue service later this year by AC Transit in Oakland, Calif.
