Motor Coach Industries (MCI) unveiled its new-look D4500 CT Commuter Coach to show attendees at the APTA Expo in Dallas. The newly streamlined MCI coach, an updated version of the D4500 CL, was designed by BMW Designworks USA and features a restyled front fascia, projector beam headlights, LED front turn signals and bonded passenger windows for a flush-mount look. Toronto's GO Transit, the first agency to take delivery of the new D4500 CTs, received 20 units in June. GO Transit's new coaches are equipped with a low-emission Caterpillar engine, Allison transmission powertrains and Vansco multiplexing.
