Vandalia Bus Lines, serving St. Louis and the Southern Illinois region, took delivery of an MCI J4500 coach. The new coach, equipped with a Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission, features an Amerex fire suppression system and a Smartire tire pressure monitoring system. This is Vandalia's first new MCI model coach purchase in several years; however, a portion of its existing fleet includes MCIs.
