New Jersey Transit (NJT) has selected IKON Office Solutions and eCopy Inc. to provide a system for managing the agency’s procurement paperwork.

NJT plans to use the IKON/eCopy solution in many of its business groups to improve paper-based business processes, including the creation and routing of more than 8,000 annual procurement requisitions and check requests.

Prior to the implementation, these processes were handled using interoffice mail. NJT expects to convert 24,000 paper documents a year into electronic workflows.
