Robert M. Shaughnessy has been named the new president and CEO of North American Bus Industries (NABI), following the closing of the sale of NABI to Cerberus Capital Management last month. “I’ve worked in the transit industry before and am excited for this opportunity to join NABI,” said Shaughnessy, a veteran of the transit bus and truck business. “I’m impressed with NABI’s proven and innovative product line and am optimistic about the future of the company.” Andy Racz, former acting president and CEO of NABI, has retired. Racz had been involved with leading the NABI group for 12 years and had been involved in the U.S. public transportation industry for more than 27 years.
