Pittsburgh’s Port Authority of Allegheny County has chosen March Networks to provide mobile video surveillance for its entire fleet of buses. The selection is part of Allegheny County’s ongoing initiative to enhance the safety of the passengers and operators on its 1,000 buses. The March Networks mobile solution is an Internet Protocol-based digital surveillance system that enables transit agencies to manage and monitor every video recorder throughout their fleet. Wireless capabilities allow the agencies to extract video from the buses without removing them from service.
