Omaha, Neb.-based Arrow Stage Lines recently purchased seven new S 417 motorcoaches, becoming the largest S 417 operator in North America.

The charter company, which purchased its first Setra in 1986, has been in operation since 1928 and has grown to 13 locations, with a fleet of 168 motorcoaches, including the 72 Setras.

The vehicles ordered by Arrow Stage Lines are equipped with optional leather headrests, a GPS system, a fire suppression system and tire monitoring system. DaimlerChrysler’s Setra S 417 was the first motorcoach to introduce a DVD player that is integrated in the driver’s stereo system. This system includes a radio, CD and five 15-inch flat-screen monitors located throughout the cabin.
