Complete Coach Works will overhaul and provide a specific engine re-power upgrade, from gasoline to alternative fuel sources like propane, to three 1974 trams for Northwest Trek, an Eatonville, Wash.-based wildlife park.

The rehabilitation project will involve complete rewiring of the trams to a multiplex system to allow ease of troubleshooting and diagnostic checks of the electrical system, refurbishing the air delivery systems, inspecting and repairing suspension components, installing new floors, windows and windshields and updating all lighting to a modern LED system.

“It’s a 1974 body, but it will essentially be a 2007 vehicle,” said Mike Randall, chair of Trek Citizen’s Advisory Committee.
