Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) launched its new “Train Tracker” online system today, which enables customers to check next train arrival times from their computers or mobile devices.

“This is the latest example of how we’re using technology and Internet to improve how we communicate with our customers,” said Harpal Kapoor, MDT’s transit director.

Specially configured for Web-enabled mobile devices, Train Tracker also features links to MDT rail system maps as well as schedules for all bus routes serving each station, information on connecting routes and transit customer service phone numbers.
