Azure Dynamics Corp., developer of hybrid-electric and electric powertrains for commercial vehicles, has completed durability testing at the U.S. Government’s bus certification test facility in Altoona, Pa.
The company’s successful completion of the testing qualifies its gasoline hybrid drive system for federally-supported hybrid bus purchases by U.S. public transit agencies.
Additionally, Azure announced that its Burnaby, B.C., facility received ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
