Nova Bus received the “Large Company of the Year” prize during the Améthyste gala that marked the close of the Specialty Vehicle and Transportation Equipment Manufacturers Association's (AMETVS) 7th annual conference.

The award is granted by a selection committee, comprised of the conference’s consultation committee members, and given to a company for its outstanding investments, growth, industrial outreach or business practices.

Nova Bus, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volvo Bus Corp., manufactures city, suburban and shuttle buses, and is the first North American heavy-duty bus manufacturer in the urban transportation sector to achieve company-wide ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. The company operates two plants in Canada.
