UK-based companies Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) and BAE Systems will partner to bring hybrid buses to London next year.
BAE Systems will integrate its series hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system onto five ADL 14-ton single-deck buses and five ADL 18-ton double-deck buses.
The 10 pre-production units will be progressively introduced to test and revenue services.
