The PACE board of directors voted to retain MV Transportation Inc. as its provider of ADA paratransit service in South Cook County and awarded the company a new $33 million, five-year contract to operate ADA services in Chicago.

Under the terms of the new contract, MV will manage and operate ADA paratransit service in the northern area of the city. The $33 million contract, which was won from a local provider, will be MV’s first operation in Chicago. The company currently operates contracts in the city’s suburban municipalities under various contracts with PACE.

PACE assumed responsibility from the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for all ADA paratransit service approximately one year ago, and MV becomes the first and only national provider to serve the CTA’s paratransit needs.
