Posted on December 18, 2007

North American Bus Industries Inc. (NABI) along with the City of Wichita/Wichita Transit and Reno County Area Transit of Hutchinson, Kan., worked with a Wichita radio station to “Stuff the Bus” for families in need.

Buses from the two transit systems stopped at 46 different locations throughout Wichita and Hutchinson over a period of four days collecting gifts donated from local businesses, schools, retail stores and individuals for three local charities.

The Stuff the Bus event collected more than 13 bus loads of beneficial items, an amount valued around $300,000, as well as $4,000 in cash donations.
