Seattle-based motorcoach operation, MTR Western has introduced www.itsgoodtobegreen.com, a Website that outlines the new conservation initiatives it is taking to become greener and reduce its carbon footprint.
Some of the changes the motorcoach company has made include upgrading its fleet with 74 new motorcoaches with clean burning engines and ZF Astronic transmissions, using “super single” tires (replacing dual rear tires with a single, super-sized tire), and reducing idling time to no more than five minutes.
