The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has selected Verint Systems Inc.’s Nextiva transit solution for its bus fleet to help increase passenger and operator safety, deter vandalism and theft, accelerate emergency response and enhance operational efficiency.
Nextiva Transit will network video across more than 300 vehicles in the CATS fleet, enabling the transfer of critical video and event data back to the CATS central monitoring station for investigation and risk management purposes.
The solution will also enable more effective management of the CATS on-board video network through automatic system health monitoring and proactive alarm notification.
