Gannett Fleming obtains ISO certification

International planning, design and construction management firm Gannett Fleming has obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification.  

An internationally recognized quality certification, ISO 9001:2000 is based on principles for organizational improvement, including a high level of management commitment; availability of the resources needed to implement quality policies; careful attention to quality control and quality assurance in the development of work products; and measurement, analysis and improvement of quality.  

Gannett Fleming’s focus on quality control and quality assurance is implemented using standard procedures and is verified through compliance audits of quality processes. Projects are developed, initiated, planned, executed, controlled and closed in accordance with the firm’s written “Project Management and Quality Guidelines” document.
