The Maryland Aviation Administration extended its contract with First Transit for seven years, keeping the company on as its shuttle provider for the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.

The company is currently serving under a 5-year contract and operates 60 vehicles at BWI.

Recently, the Maryland Public Service Commission identified First Transit as the top employer of diverse contracts, based on total minority business enterprise expenditures in the state of Maryland.
