Prevost unveils lifecycle cost app

Posted on September 24, 2013

Prevost developed a “Lifecycle Cost Calculator” mobile app, which allows coach operators to measure and compare the lifecycle costs of different coaches based on numerous factors.

Users can utilize simple slide controls to input information about fixed costs such as monthly payments, insurance, taxes and others, as well as variable costs such as fuel costs, fuel economy, maintenance costs and mileage used.

Once the information for any coach has been entered, the user clicks the “View Results” button to see the total lifecycle cost per mile for that vehicle. Operators can use this information to compare lifecycle costs among vehicles in their fleet and help determine the best fleet make-up for their business needs. Comparisons can also be made between existing older vehicles and potential new vehicles.

The app can be downloaded in English, French and Spanish from the Apple App Store here.

A free webinar explaining the use of the LCC App is available at the Prevost Webinar website here.
