OAKLAND, Calif. — AC Transit GM David Armijo abruptly resigned Thursday after leading the day-to-day operations at the transit authority for three years, reported East Bay Express.

In his resignation letter, Armijo said his “goal of providing safe, reliable and sustainable transit service in the East Bay has been accomplished.” Armijo’s resignation is effective immediately. For the full story, click here.
