[IMAGE]MCICoachToursMay18Full.jpg[/IMAGE]The Brookfield, Conn.-based Coach Tours buys, on average, a new MCI D-Series model every year. Its newest is a 2009 MCI D4505.

Equipped with a Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission clean-diesel power train, Coach Tours’ new MCI features a state-of–the-art-entertainment system by Blaupunkt with six flat-screen, 10-inch wide-screen video monitors. The 55 passenger seats are by Amaya. A GPS system installed by the carrier enables tracking of the location and fuel mileage of its coaches. Coach Tours started in 1984 with one MCI.

Currently, the company has a fleet of 15 MCI D-Series coaches, its own service shop and employs 26 full- and part-time drivers and 42 total employees in its Connecticut and New York locations.
