The five coaches are the first in Tennessee to be equipped with three-point seat belts. The coaches are also wrapped in a custom graphics package and feature WiFi, In Motion satellite service, DVD and audio entertainment systems, enclosed parcel racks, panoramic rear windows and Alcoa DuraBright aluminum wheels.

Meanwhile, Cross Country Trailways of Spartanburg, S.C., recently added a new Van Hool C2045E to its fleet, which now totals 19 motorcoaches.

The 2010 C2045E has a Cummins engine coupled to an Allison transmission, matching the rest of Cross Country's all Van Hool fleet. The new coach also features Van Hool's exclusive contoured parcel racks with 6 large screen 22-inch video monitors, panoramic rear window, WiFi service, wireless PA microphone, Dura Bright aluminum wheels and a custom graphics design. The passenger seats have leather inserts and three-point seat belts.

ABC Companies also announced that Filip Van Hool was awarded the 2009 Bus Builder of the Year award at the BusWorld 2009 Show, in Kortrijk, Belgium.

The prestigious Bus Builder of the Year is a coveted prize sought by leading international competitors each year. Van Hool's two European spec models, the T915 Alicron Lite Bus and the T916 Astronef were both key to helping Van Hool secure this auspicious award.
