Prevost announces webinar, training opportunities

Posted on February 24, 2011

Prevost announced its spring 2011 schedule for Prevost Connection, their series of webinars focused on customer education.

The 2011 line-up will include in-depth education on Prevost AWARE Adaptive Cruise Braking, which was introduced to the industry at UMA Expo in January, as well as an update of the popular Volvo SCR technology session held last year. Other webinars will address the company's electronic stability program, HVAC maintenance, brake maintenance, HVAC multiplex control and warranty program.

Prevost Connection is a continuing series of online presentations and discussions for motorcoach operators, drivers and maintenance personnel. The program educates, reviews and reminds customers about important topics regarding new and existing Prevost vehicles, vehicle maintenance and customer service programs. Each session also allows for discussion between Prevost product and service experts and webinar attendees.

The Prevost Connection schedule of webinars for spring 2011 can be accessed directly, here, where attendees can register for upcoming sessions or view recordings of past webinars.

The company also announced that courses on the Prevost H and X coach series will be presented throughout North America as part of the company's ongoing commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service.

Prevost's Field Service team is intimately involved with the service school program. Each class is led by a regional service manager (RSM) with a second RSM assisting. Classes combine lectures and practical application, with a 2011 H3 seated coach, a 2011 X3 Entertainer conversion coach and an earlier model H3 seated coach on hand to ensure that attendees get plenty of hands-on experience.

The syllabus consists of seven courses that focus on the Prevost H and X coach series. Three two-day courses cover electrical systems, HVAC systems and drive trains. Four one-day courses are devoted to pneumatic systems, accessories and safety, shell converters, and axles and brakes. Depending on their interest and experience, attendees should select between two and four courses for a total of four days.

With class size limited to a maximum of 10, prospective attendees are urged to sign up well in advance. Schedule of remaining courses and online registration is available, here.
