WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) said they will reintroduce a bill to strengthen bus safety and improve driver training, according to the Detroit News. Brown and Hutchison's Motorcoach Enhanced Safety Act would require safety belts and stronger seating systems to ensure occupants stay in their seats in a crash.

The pair planned on making the announcement Wednesday, which was the fourth anniversary of the Bluffton (Ohio) University baseball team bus crash that killed seven. For the full story, click here.
