UMA/NTA set schedule for 2013 show

Posted on April 2, 2012

The United Motorcoach Association (UMA) and NTA released the tentative schedule for their joint 2013 event in Orlando, Fla., “Travel Exchange” — the combination of UMA Motorcoach EXPO and NTA annual Convention.

The schedule for the Jan. 20 to 24 show was confirmed at the NTA/UMA 2013 Task Force meeting and will give members a better idea of how UMA's and NTA's events will be integrated.

"Travel Exchange represents an extraordinary opportunity for motorcoach operators, motorcoach industry suppliers, tour operators and travel industry suppliers to develop new business contacts outside their normal parameters," said Victor Parra, UMA president/CEO. "The schedule has been carefully developed to best facilitate networking, learning and buying and selling among all participants."

Besides confirming the schedule, the NTA/UMA 2013 Task Force discussed registration policies, marketing plans and other event details at their meeting in Orlando.

Additionally, UMA and NTA have set Travel Exchange dates and locations for the next three years:

•             Jan. 20-24, 2013 | Orlando, Fla.

•             Feb. 16-20, 2014 | Los Angeles

•             Jan. 17-21, 2015 | New Orleans
